Biography

Graduated in Medicine from Federal University of Triangulo Mineiro (1990), obtained his master’s (Mental Health) from University of São Paulo (1998), Ph.D. in Medicine (Mental Health) from the University of São Paulo (2002) and postdoctoral degree from the University of Manchester – England (2003). He is currently a Full Professor of the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto.

Areas of Interest

Dr. Hallak has experience in Psychiatry with emphasis on neuroimaging and psychopharmacology and developing studies mainly on the following topics: schizophrenia, antipsychotics, temporal lobe epilepsy and techniques for structural and functional neuroimaging.
